At the Animal Shelter of Martha’s Vineyard we are dedicated to educating and encouraging the hearts and minds of the community to help the animals of Martha’s Vineyard. At ASMV we are dedicated to providing efficient, high quality and humane care of animals in our shelter. The shelter was established in 2009 and in 2012 the shelter accepted the generous gift of the Kitty Foote building from the MSCPA and began operation as an independent non-profit. The Animal Shelter of Martha’s Vineyard continues to be self-supporting through donations from our sponsors, grants and fund-raising events.
